I'm a designer who loves to code. I'm a strong advocate for high product quality and know that having an intimate understanding of technical constraints is essential to raising the bar.

While I obsess over the details in visual design, interaction design, and code, I've done this long enough to know that successful product design encompasses much more than that.

Extensive research, user testing, and close collaboration with product and engineering teams have helped me ensure that what's being designed aligns with real problems and secures executive buy-in — where compelling mockups, polished prototypes, and flashy decks alone don't get features shipped.

I'm currently based in sunny San Diego, California and hold a B.S. in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Human Computer Interaction from UC San Diego.
